On Saturday, Abrams showed the new rise of Skywalker movie footage for fans attending the Comic Con Experience Brazil. Star Wars actors Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Issac were also in attendance.

Abrams also told the crowd that he is excited for fans to see how he will interact with the characters in The Rise of Skywalker.

Abrams and the cast shared their favorite stories about working with the late, great Carrie Fisher – who will return as General Leia for The Rise of Skywalker for unused footage being added to the storylines.
Ridley said at the Brazilian Comic Con, “Got emotional watching it. It’s a wonderful tribute to Carrie. Leia is important to the story.”
